Covert's Bridge, New Castle: a decapitated bride
Around midnight on Halloween, the young new-married couple was riding in a horse drawn carriage across one-land Covert's Bridge with the concurrence of a car running. When they saw each other, it was too late. They crashed and the hubcap of the car flew off. The police never found the bride's head or groom's body. If you sit on the bridge on Halloween night around midnight, you can see the headless bride standing on some rocks in the river.

Baby Bridge, Georgia: a baby crying and its footprints
A poor farmer and his wife in Georgia in the 1800's were expecting their 5th child. Because of bad crops and the farmer' inability to feed his family of six, the doctor and he arranged to immediately separate the baby from the mother and tell that the baby died during birth. The doctor took the baby to a nearby bridge and dropped him over the side. It is said that on a cloudless night during a full moon, you drive your car to "Baby Bridge" and park it in the bridge- center at the highest point, get out of your car and sprinkle baby powder in a circle. After backing in your car, turning lights off for 10 minutes, you will hear a baby crying with a soft sound and find baby footprints in the circle of powder.
