If you want to apply for a job, these following tips can be very helpful so that you can have a good resume for recruiters:


1. You should write down your education background. It means that you can contain diplomas or certificates, major or course emphasis, school names and courses referred to career goals.


2. Next, it is necessary to write down other achievements, which consist of membership in organizations, military service and any other special achievements.


3. Then, you can note your own work experiences including your paid or unpaid, full time or part time jobs. Moreover, you can add your duties, job position, company background, etc.


4. According to your notes, you can select which skills are preferable for the job you are applying for because these are considered to be the most important issues for your resume.


5. To start writing your resume, you should give information about your full name, address, telephone number, fax and email at the top position of the resume.


6. A good and clear goal which summarizes briefly the description of kind of work you want to obtain should be written in your resume.


7. In the part of working experience, you should provide your most recent job and add more information about company profiles and your duties. One more thing, you can list all of your work experience job by job progressing backwards in time. However, it is essential for you to concentrate on the skills related to your job you are applying for.


8. In the part of your education background, you should highlight important points such as degree type, specific courses studied that are referred to the job you are applying for. In addition, you may cover other similar points like languages spoken, computer programming knowledge, and so on which can lie in the item Additional Skills.


9. To complete your resume, you can use the phrase: REFERENCES which is available upon request.


10. Your entire resume should not be any longer than one page. On the other hand, if you have had a number of years of experience detailed to the job you are applying for, two pages may be accepted.


11. You must remember to use Spacing: ADDRESS (center of page in bold) OBJECTIVE, double space REFERENCES, double space EXPERIENCE, double space ADDITIONAL SKILLS, double space EDUCATION. Additionally, you can use alignment everything apart from name or address.


Tips:


1. You should not apply the subject 'I' and use tenses in the past apart from your present job. For example, we have "conducted routine inspections of on site equipment".


2. You may also use active action verbs such as accomplished, collaborated, encouraged, established, facilitated, founded, managed, etc.
